Candlelight Vigil For Rape Victims.

DSAA is hosting a Candle Light Vigil on Sunday May 20th 630pm at Monty’s Elegant Banquet Parking Lot, in remembrance of recent victims of brutal rape, Asifa Bano, Pihu, Zainab, Chatra victim and many more unnamed victims lost in numbers.
Recently an 8year old girl Asifa, was brutally raped and murdered by alleged murderers after being captured, sedated, starved and raped multiple times for over a week then brutally beaten to death. The family has been trying to get justice since January. Eight men have been arrested but are being protected by political parties for political motives.
Just last week in one day 7-8 girls ages 3-16years were raped.
A 16-year-old was burned alive in front of her parents just for speaking out against the incident. A second rape of 17year old girl occurred in the same area and was also raped then set to be burned alive and is fighting for her life in the hospital.
Many incidents have been reported in the areas where these children were raped and killed.
DSAA would like to invite people from all communities to join hands and help support bringing awareness.
A small fundraiser option will be available to help support families suffering from these post traumatic events.
Community Leaders will be present speaking against the brutality and showing support for Rape Victims.
DSAA organizers have been receiving numerous threats, harassment messages and calls to stop the Candlelight Vigil.

The candlelight vigil will begin at 6:30pm on May 20th.
Refreshments will be served at 8.15pm and prayer rooms are available.
